Since 1890, Gulliver & Tyler has been a cornerstone of the North Canterbury community, founded by Herbert Gulliver and Charles Tyler—two esteemed local businessmen dedicated to compassionate service. Charles Tyler’s commitment extended beyond our funeral services; he served as Rangiora’s mayor from 1939 to 1961 and was honoured with an OBE in 1950 for his distinguished contributions.

As part of the Canterbury Funerals Group, a New Zealand family-owned and operated organisation with locations from Timaru to Kaikōura, we continue to uphold the high standards set by our predecessors.
